Microsoft Spyware!

Other browsers are NOT more secure! They are less pron to attack because there are not as many computers running them. As those numbers grow, so will attacks. Why would a hacker want to target thousands when they could target millions? Remember...Keep your Firewalls, Anti-virus and
spyware programs running up to date.

    Microsoft Spyware! FREE!

    Go here and dowload this:

    http://www.microsoft.com/athome/security/spyware/software/howto/scanauto.mspx

It's free and found seven programs that got past all of our virus programs and firewalls, FACT!

    Been running....

The Beta version for about 9 months now with no problems. My brother tells me they didn't change the version available now except for the timely updates that show up once in a while.

I've also been informed that MOST of the pop-ups that offer to scan your computer for free are worth it. They are just planting spyware so it won't show in their programs and going about your business. Chris

    Good Call!

Works great and like you said, picked up several spy cookies left behind from another program.

    spyware, popups, etc.

Another option is to go to:
    http://www.mozilla.org
and download Firefox. It's an alternative to Internet Exployer that's much more secure.

    spyware info

This is an excellent article about spyware, adware and IE explorer from the people at tourbus.com (don't let the name fool you, they know their stuff).

The articles is from last October, so it doesn't mention Microsoft's anti-spyware program.
