That looks so much better than the before pictures... I like how everything is supported and that the flue venting is no longer haphazard (at best!) The isolation flanges are a nice touch, along with the nicely-insulated AC ductowork.
I am not a great fan of supporting water tanks on open blocks though. That superstor may be light enough not to cause trouble and the practice of elevating tanks that way is widespread. However, I had my masons fill in the voids under my tank with solid grout to be on the safe side. I'm also not fond of flexduct, but I doubt you had a choice!

Change out with progress photos.
The owner wanted to update their heating system and save on fuel. This is our standard replacement. Buderus G124 with SSU-30 and new a/c first floor only with a 13 SEER Lennox system. The Logomatic R2107 will go on next year.
This was converted to gas many years ago. Look at how the gas company connected to the chimney. Real nice. Look at the oversized water heater flue pipe that just magicly sits on top of the draft hood.
For people who want to know how a new system gets put in, this is a rough idea.
EDIT: The photos changed order after I posted them.

Gas company
Some of the wierdest installs I run across have been done by "the gas company". Fact!0 -
Nice work
The install looks great! The venting in the "after" picture is much more acceptable. Thanks for the before and after pictures.0 -
I like it
What a great improvement compared to the old stuff . I also like the iso flanges on each side of the pumps , and the way you hung the supply piping . Is that BX going to the pumps ? The material looks plastic , but I'm not sure . Beautiful install Ted .0 -
Nice work.
Are those circuit setters above the circs? WW

Economical
Hello Constantin.
The flex duct was used simply to keep the job affordable for the owner. No biggie since they are going right to the boots in the subfloor.
Wasnt there a whole thread on cinder block positioning?
Thanx for the nice words.

Yeah the electrical flex piping looks a weird color. It is metal though.
We like to use threaded rod. The owner was in the trades and he loved the threaded rod hangers.

Thanx Joe.
BTW, the GA124 job with the venting, we decided to condition the space. So no letter.
