buderus pics spacesaver

This is what the Wall is all about , I love seeing pics of jobs like this showcased for all to see .

Is that a premade copper manifold after the red pump ?

Thanks for the kind words Dale . I'm always striving to make my work look like something Mellow installs .

Just finished two boilers last week

This is one of them. The custimer was not getting enough hot water from the valiant. The coil just could not keep up with the demand. The house has three zones of BB heat, one of the zones we changed to constant circulation. We have been doing this to improve the comfort in the homes we work in and find it works great....I would like to find out the best settings for the 2107 to start with on most homes. This would help keep the fine tuning we have to do to a minimum. We mostly replace boilers in homes with BB heat and I have found some settings that work but I see room for improvement......any ideas?

    Beautiful Work, Mellow...

... the horizontal tanks to mount under boilers aren't just space-saving - they save you back also! Like Ron Jr., you are literally squeezing more boiler/indirect into a tiny space than should be possible.

I like the plumb and neat Propress work, as well as the acessible ball valves to help regulate the zones. The zone valves, air sep, plus the pump on the supply side must do wonders both in terms of noise and comfort. I also really like the header work... it's very elegant.

I presume that the Grundfos is driving the heating circuits while the Taco is dealing with the indirect? Again, great install, and congratulations. I hope that the new homeowners will appreciate this system and your work as much as they ought to.

I'm sorry that I can't help you on the Logomatic or burner settings. As a mere homeowner, these are technical issues I know nothing about (yet). Later this summer, I may become a bit armed and dangerous when it comes to the Vitola, but I have yet to take that training session.

    thanks guys

I had to lose a few pounds to fit in that room..... I hope to be going to buderus school soon. I have a few questions and would like to see a differant view on how to install (the best posible way).
This is another job pic in a room with so many angles we had nothing to measure off of......and we had to move the water tanks to make everything fit. Give me a full basement anyday.... sorry no before pics it was an old arcoliner with a slow speed burner.

    School is your best option

We look forward to meeting you. We can discuss different scenarios with you. Also remember that changes to heat curves can always be verified in menu for heating curve to see how your changes affected the curve. Ex: ref temp 155,day temp 76, night temp 74,offset 9, this will give you a curve for hydro air at between 138-185 degrees.

    Ron

We buy the copper manifold and cut it to fit the jobs. It works good most of the time..... The bigest thing we try to do is make the jobs easy to clean and service....Even in the small spaces.....we have to plan more but find it realy isn't that hard to do. then the rest of the job seems to fall into place .....thanks for the positive reply and I hope to see some of your job pics soon.
