dismanting cast iron radiators
Hi,
I have a chance to get some nice old Taylor Forbes (Soverign) cast iron radiators that have never been painted. I would like to use them as auxilary heat on the second floor of a radiant heated building (only the first floor has heat presently). Will I be able to take the radiators apart and turn a 48" rad into a 24" rad? I assume they all screw apart. These rads are in great shape and not painted so I assume it can be done. Can anyone lead me to some information of how this is done?
Thanks
