boiler vent

Im installing a weil mclain ultra modulating boiler. The venting says it should be 4" PVC or ABS and has an intake and exhaust. The home owner already had an 8" galvi flew piped through the roof for the boiler he was going to use. The house is mostly complete and he has now changed to this ultra boiler but there is no way to get the intake and exhaust through the roof because it is all sheet rocked and painted etc. The Galvi vent through the roof has a couple of 45 degree bends in it so i can not run a straight stick of pipe up through it. I was wondering if I could run black corrigated flexible pipe up through the 8" existing galvi vent to vent the exhaust and then have the intake just draw down around the outside of that but still in the 8" flew. Would This Work? Any other suggestions?

vent it per specs only. If nothing else think about your liability issues. No way to vent sidewall I take it. Your cust is just going to have to bite the bullet. Do it right or walk away from this unless you can get written auth from the company or your inspector to cover you rear.0 -
Agree with Jeff
But don't bother with an inspector approving it. Go back to Weil Mclain only....Let them be the final say on venting to cover you backside...IMHO0
