Have to wait till may to get cert...can you use "tee's"in the wall to branch off??...Massachusetts code????Help meeeee, big job-a-bidding (single units).0 -
Trust me.. stay out of outside walls....
keep it clean and simple, use nail plates, drill 1 & 1/2 or 1& 3/8ths and use a squeaker,i dont use this in outside walls it is against our codes here for anything other than a Vent in DWV or a Fuel line, or frost free hose bib to be hammered into an outside wall too cold , however,if it is within the building envelope (vapor barrier) and you are sure it is well insulated against the weather you may use it in that particular exception...for the most part the highest level of delivery of potable water lines is a wirsbo patend it is thier AQUA SAFE residential Firesprinklers and cold water potable water supply system...instead of lineal or branch or parellel branch it is basically drawn off a three dimensional array...well, keep things inside the building envelope and insulate against the cold in out side walls, and i can say, that in 63 below zero F it wont freeze *~/:) ok... as long as the people keep the conditioned space from freezing.0
