I did consider monoflo, and the pipe size was a question, I wonder if the manf. rep would help with sizing and design?

    HEATING ZONE REPLACEment

Have 40 year old building in church with cast iron convectors connected to main S&R in slab. has several leaks.Suggestion was to come out of floor and run a new perimeter loop and tie in all of the rads(1/2 inch connections.)there will be approx 12 wall penetrationsand 20 rads.Any ideas for piping , other than copper S&R and reducing tees, or any labor saving ideas? This is currently one of 7 zones heated by a primary secondary header fed by 3 munchkin 399m's, we installed.building is 50ft x 85ft. ANY TAKERS? THANKS

    you could use mono-flow tees

you would of course have to upsize your pipe, but of course there would be no return per se, but yes, redoing perimeter piping is about the only way unless you want to channel alot of concrete. I assume you are talking hot water, we use only copper in that situation and have for many years.
