hydronic towel warmers

Some definitely useful products at a good price, but IMHO not a good application for hydronics.

1) Pipes aren't torsion bars.

2) Pivot connections that can handle pressure with reasonable reliability are VERY expensive--think "pot fillers" installed over ranges. Even then, they're not under constant pressure.

3) You'd have to add a way to bleed air.

4) Again, IMHO, hydronic towel warmers aren't especially practical in the mainly warm United States.

    hydronic towel warmers

We are a manufacturer of towel warmers and would like to offer a
hydronic version of our units. Therefore we are in need of a flexible

connector to link up with the hot water heating system in the home.

What do we need to connect to a system?

We are thinking a 10" or 12" long connector with 3/8" Male NPT fittings each end.

Do you have more knowledge of this market and maybe some better ideas.

Currently we put a female 3/8" NPT thread in our units. You can view the units under towel warmers on our web site - www.hingeit.com

    towel warmers

I installed a towel warmer in my cabin, along with a high efficiency boiler, radiaters, baseboards, and toe kicks. I get more comments (all positive) on the towel warmer then anything else in the cabin. The connection is two 1/2" female pipe threads in the bottom with the same on top for bleed valves. They are a tough sell because of the cost, not for lack of interest. I know now that we have one my wife wouldn't let me get rid of it.
