Ron,
I agree. I dont know of any that are listed for residential indoor use, but there may be a product out there that I am not aware of.
Also, I don't know if there are any that can be used outdoor residential.
Anyone else help out here??
Regards,
Ed Carey

outdoor waste oil boiler
A request for information from a customer who is building a new home has sparked my interest(it did'nt take much)in specs and availability of waste oil outside boilers in residential/light comm. sizes.I am a Wash.PA. contractor specializing for many years in oil fired products and hydronics. Any experience? Replies from sales side or user side will be appreciated.

These are a bit spendy, and have their vagarities...
a saying i have is You install it,You Married it.0 -
The down side..............
is that they need lots of maintaince. CLEANING is done by hour meter and not the calendar plus a good cleaning takes about 3 hours ,just basic service!. Also if you don't have atleast 1000 gals of waste oil a year to get rid of it's not worth it.0 -
Try Inov-8 International 608-785-2879 or Reznor 724-662-4400. These both offer waste oil boilers/burner.

Waste Oil
They are a different animal, but there is a definite market for them. I studied up on them a few years ago. The A.R. Sandri Co. in Greenfield, Mass. is the Clean Burn distributor for (I think) the whole eastern seaboard. Phil Phillips of Sandri runs intensive training programs.0 -
Waste oil heating equipment
One thing to check is that the waste oil product you choose is LISTED to be used as a residential appliance. Some are NOT LISTED for residential use. Just a thought.

I don't think ANY are listed for indoor residential use.
