    GB Pompetti style

Slowly but surely this part of the job is coming to completion! We have all the radaint in and under pressure, there are PEX lines up to the 5 radiators that will be going into the bedrooms, and the boiler and HWM are in. We also installed a Unico mini duct system in the attic with an air-recovery unit. After the hardwoods are down we will remove the pressure from the eight radiant manifolds and pipe them into the boiler.

We are also in the process of talking to the homeowner about a snowmelt system for under the stamped driveway they will be putting down! How sweet would that look with two GB's side by side?

    Very Neat

Be careful running the indirect too hot. When your recirc pump comes on it will pull the hot water out of the tank without mixing it. Nice and neat craftmanship. How do you like the Buderus mixing block? I would like to try one.

It is a very easy boiler to setup, at least coming from a condensing boiler point of view. We have two in and we do not anticipate working on them any time soon. So I am not really sure how hard they will be to trouble shot. When we went up to Buderus they had told us that this boiler has been in operation in Germany for over twenty years and it really has a great track record.

I guess we will see. Although, it is a really nice boiler to work with and assembles fast and easy when used with the other Buderus pieces.

Everything is on the job right now but you can bring up all of Buderus' specs on www.Buderus.net. You just have to go under the products legend.

Since it is just a motorized zone valve on the mixing station, the block on the right. We will be using a Tekmar 360 to control all the outdoor reset capability.
