Week from hell

Well I hope it gets better. My mom had a stroke last week, thank god she is doing ok, no damage just a big scare. Got a call from real estate gal, we replaced this ladies ductwork two years ago, washer flooded her house got into the ductwork, she want me to replace the ductwork free. Got my new workmens comp bill, went out thru the roof: one of my guys got bite by a customers dog ( and i get stuck with the bill). Bustd my hump tring to help a owner get his resturant open, guess what? his check bounces. His reply " want me to send you another check, hell no the first one was bad, what is gonna make the second one any good" .
My next door neighbor died Sunday morning, good ole man, will miss JB. Rufus jumped the fence this morning and chased the garbage people down the road, cheif woke me up this morning at 4:45 to tell me to put my critter up so the men can come back and get their truck lmao if it wasn't so early. Found out today the last secretary i fired, had not got any warranty claims for the last 3 months, 6 grand and still counting. Had to go get my best friend out of the jail, got caught drunk driving on his tractor. Found out got to buling disc on the upper part of my back and two ruptured on the lower part of my back, and the doctor though I was just making up the part about the pain.
Hey it could get worse, hope not, I am still breathing, kicking not high but still kicking. Oh yea, today must have been salemen day, got 2 salemen that are hndicapped, admire them and always welcome them in no matter what, one guy lost a hand and the other was born with no arms just hands and he drives himself.

Peace Be With All Of My Wethead Freinds And Family

Well, the week is almost at an end..

... and presumably it can only get better from now on. Hope that things improve dramatically for you in the weeks ahead.

    David

I will never allow myself to benefit from someone elses misfortune, but you have made my week not look so bad. (I have had a bad week also, but, brother, I will pray for you first.)

    Regards,

    PR

Had a month like that once..

lost my dad on the 7th of July and the best job I ever had except for the current one the 3rd of the next month - which happened to be my birthday. You'll make it and things will get better. Good luck and remember to do something nice for your wife and kids this weekend, it'll make you feel better.

Must be something in the air this week.

Cause I had a goofy day today. First, we got a combo of snow/ rain/hail/freezing rain overnight, so the roads were bad. Then get to my first call, a refrigeration call. Building owner shows up, show me the freezer that wasn't working, then tells me the condensor is on the roof. Set up every inch of my 28 foot ladder, go on the dome shaped roof for about 15 minutes, can't find a refrigeration compressor anywhere. Started heading back for the ladder, slipped on the slush/ice and fell on my butt. Now I'm cold, soaking wet, and aggrivated. Go back in the store find the condensor is in the attic. Check out the unit, find there is no Refrigerant in it at all, and this is a n ice cream shop that has been closed for the winter, so who knows how long it has been down. Check for leaks, find a solder joint that cracked and leaking badly. Also joint is right at compressor and was only soft soldered. So then I pull the joint apart, clean it up, then braze it. I go to charge it and start it up, out of two jugs of R-414B I don't have enough to fully charge the unit. Call the boss to have another jug delivered. Get the unit all done, wind up spending 7 hours, and am now running an hour and a half behind. I run to the shop, unload my garbage and to pick up parts. I bent over and my pants split in the rear, about 12 inches long. I've got no extra pants, to far from home, and no time to spare. So I wound up going to my two last call with my shirt tail and long johns hanging out, and trying to keep my customers in FRONT of me. Finally got done at 6:00 PM. Then I go home and tell my wife. She suddenly burst out laughing uncontrollably and starts calling everybody she can think of to tell them I split my pants.
