went on a call last nite no heat steam boiler plumber told customer she needed a new hw 8600u control because tstat wasnt cycling boiler his temporary solution was to remove wire connected to the 24 volt terminal and run a wire from 24volt hot on transformer to 24 volt terminal on the hw 8600u control there by bypassing all the safeties the pigtail was plugged gauge was reading 8 psi cleaned pigtail everything works fine now if you dont know what your doing dont touch it call for help
