Radiant ceiling panels

I've had experience with the above brands of panels and they all work more or less the same, with the slight differences due to how the copper tube is bonded to the backs of the panels. The only start-up issue is the flushing out of these things and getting the air out for the connecting pipe pigtails between panels connected in series. Make sure the panels are installed with a minimum of 3" (75mm) thick insulation on the backs of them with a bit of an overlap if the panels are installed in a Tee-bar ceiling. Most of the coordination problems I've encountered are fitting panels into suspended ceiling systems where Mr. Nobody has allowed for the additional mounting frames, tee-bar clips, and edge hangers if one side of the panel is against a wall.

    radiant cieling panels

Just wondering has anyone done any large installs of radiant cieling panels for warehouse and or manafacturing buildings .I am in the process of trying to get together a large job and was looking at using radiant cieling panels like those made by rittling ,water strip and was wondering if any one hasd used them and how well did they think they worked .The project i am looking at has lots of high cieling high heat loses but on the up side there is plenty of space to hang these types of units and it would really put some heat where it is needed in the building it will also allow us to close up some very old roof top a/h with out side air inlets which is half of the high ulitity bills namely gas .It's a large propasal with a large price tag but in the short and long run would cut there very large heating/maintance cost down .This job would also intail complete re piping and replacement of a existing 7 mbtu steam boiler which can no longer be re tubed due to how many times it has been re tubed the original system has to many promblems to list and the companiy owners would like to switch to a hot water system in hoping to reduce maintance and ulitilty bills thanks in advance peace and good luck clammy
