toe kick heater

Make sure you are using mono-flow tees for your branch supply and return to the kick space. solder them in so the directional arrows are facing each other and they are at least 16-18" apart. I always put ball valves on the 1/2" supply and return and a 3/4" valve between the tees to bleed the kickspace on initial fire up.You generally want to put your kickspace as close to the boiler supply run as possible to keep the water temp up. If you add another one, I would install a second set of mono-flow tees and pipe it as the 1st one was done. Make sure you have enough pipe size on your main run to handle the extra load.

Toe kick heater
A toe kick heater was removed from a system and want to put it back into the system. you have your circulator pumping away from the boiler then a flow check followed by two 3/4" x 1/2" tee's spaced 16" apart which went to the toe kick heater supply and return. then piping which feeds the rest of the base boards which split off of a 3/4" tee to the front and back of the house. Will that toe kick work properly with the supply and return coming off of the supplyto the rest of the base board. If so would I be able to add another toe kick heater off of the one I'm putting back in Thanks0 -

How far apart should the second set of tee's be from the first set0
