The Delta symbol can be found in Microsoft Word by clicking "insert" then "symbol" subset "Mathemathical Operations". Lots of other handy symbols can be found in the insert tables. For example: º,♂, ©,<,> to show just a few.

    Yes

    MBH in this industry means thousands of BTU's per hour, so 1233MBH is 1,233,000BTU/hr.

    Have a lovely day.

  • MBH=

    Jeff,

    M = Roman numeral for 1000
    B = BTU
    H = Hour

    1MBH = 1,000BtuH

    FYI,

    And to expand on that MM

    means "millions" (thousands of thousands). Also MM = coated chocoloate candy that one could eat in similar amounts. See? The Universe has Order! Except when it comes to cats.

    MM vs WW

    Brad,

    So the candies are really M&Ms.

    I always that they were W&Ws.

    Gosh, I just love to learn new stuff :)

  • the W&W

    U can get them W&W at discount stores as they failed the quanitly control...
  • it took hours

    I went to six websites before I figured that one out

    :-)

    In reality, a lot of us take for granted stuff that we throw out there. MBH, BTU, Delta-T (especially when we use that damn little triangle that I can not find the key for!), CO, CO2, ambient etc etc etc
