Flexible piping

I have to heat a 3rd floor to be used as a study in an old house. Using flexible piping will greatly simplify the installation.

I will probably use copper fin baseboard. Has anyone used PEX pipe for this application? Are there other flexible pipe options? The water will be 180 degrees max. The pipe is rated at 200 degrees.

Not a bad way to go

but I might suggest Pex-Al-Pex (aluminum core with pex inside and out). I believe it has a higher P/T rating and at least is more durable.

The notion of using Pex in any decent form as a home-run or branch system has been around a while so there is a track record to go on.

I would think that, despite the P/T ratings of the material, using outdoor reset would extend the range and life a bit.
