but cable service in Baltimore is so outrageously expensive and unreliable that I refuse to subscribe.

"Big Moves" or something like that?
An eight-story telephone company building with hundreds of switchboard operators working inside was moved without work stoppage! Flexible piping was spliced in for gas, water, electric, sewer, and (of course) telephone lines.0 -

last night on TV
I hardly ever watch TV anymore. Last night I just wanted to relax, and I turned on the TV. I was stuck there flipping channels between Three shows- Deadliest Catch, Big Moves, and Flip this house.....
I even stayed up til 1:30am and practically watched all three shows twice.
That is why I try not to watch TV anymore, because every time I do I am stuck there for minimum 3 hours. I try to keep it down to once a month... hard to resist though, TV has just gotten so addictive, I practically am only interested in a few channels anyway; TLC, History Channel, Discovery Channel, and A&E. Once in a while I watch sports, and news but I get most of my news via radio, or online.
I think that because of TV, Radio, and the internet we are are kind of in the "Dark Ages". The reason why I say this is because instant entertainment is robbing us of our own creativity. When was the last time you sat down and had a complete thought about anything? Our time has become so fragmented, we have only so much time we can devote to certain things. Anyway, lunch for me is over, gotta get back and see what the boys are up to!
