new high limit failure?

they had wired the boiler's 110v supply, to the system demand control - so if the demand was satisfied - the boiler and it's pump was shut of abruptly with no way to purge the residual heat out of it, if it had just gotten to 180, thus the trip I would have seen it right away but its one of those rats nest boiler rooms that make you dizzy just looking at it!!!

new high limit failure?
got a brand new IBR 8900 series (630kbtu), that keeps tripping the high limit,
-the high limit (on boiler's discharge) is set for 200f
-the aquastat (on boilers return) is set for 170
-the installed paddle switch is working correctly and indicating good flow
-the system is piped primary/secondary
-the boiler pump has sufficient gpm and head to get the BTUs to the close-T's
-the tridicators on the boilers return and discharge ports never get past 180
-there is no appreciable pressure differential between the two that would indicate a flow restriction
-the system is purged of air
how many of you have experienced a new high limit failure as this would be a first for me
