Options
Etheir u have some strange voltage spikes or well tank lacks of air, keepiing the pump run too long at higher amps, making a "welded" contacts on switch... Another possiblly, u have a really cheapo presurre switch with defective contacts that can't handle the arcing...

What would cause a pressure switch to fail and stick closed causing the pump to stay on and "churn"? Anything other than a bad switch/luck?0
