This valve was setting the system to about 40 psi, yikes. Surprised the pressure relief hadnt blow yet, but will replace that also.
I adjusted it until the threads are almost out and the best I can get is around 25-28 are there any othe tricks to fix this and not have to replace it, I am wondering if its worth cracking to clean the strainer, or just swap it with a watts or something else. Thank you

guage?
Are your sure the guage your using is accurate? If so I would also be checking the expansion tank. Either way I would be shutting it down until it's repaired. No need to take chances. IMHO0
