tiny banging noise in a vent

weil mclain gold series steam boiler with a tankless. the aquastat is set for 160. if the boiler comes on to reach the aquastat limit or if i turn the thermostat on the #35 air vent starts vibrating for about ten minutes or so. ive replaced the vent and not sure what to do now? the boiler was installed about 8 years ago. the air vent is located off of a tee in the return and has a 1/4 (by whatever size the #35 air vent is)90(male by female)!
