Why do some posts continue off screen?

... the Invision forums indent each post by a certain amount to graphically show the "threads". As threads get very long, the windw they are shown in (about 500 pixels wide, normally) gets expanded. Ditto on wide-pics being posted. That is why I always resize my pictures to be about 500 pixels wide before I post them. Nice to see you at BNL, Bill!

And is there any way to fix this?
I've noticed that some posts continue off the screen (horizontally, that is) and you have to scroll side-to-side to read them - very annoying.
What causes that, and more importantly, how do I fix it. If there is no quick fix, is there some other way to deal with it?0 -
The only
The only times that happens is when the thread is real longggggggggggggggggggggggggggggg.
The other time is when some one posts a huge picture. You just have to scroll side to side, no cure that I know of.
