    I am sitting here reliving fourteen years ago -- when we lost our daughter. I am so very sorry for you ,nothing in my experince ,has been so gut wrenching in my life. We are blessed with two wonderful sons:but,my wife and I say we wanted it to be three. God bless { even though it is hard to believe at a time like this } and may your pain be lessened over time; unfortunately it never goes away but the cold sharp edges are dulled somewhat.

    There are no words to express how sorry we are for your loss, and what a devastating loss it must be. There is no greater loss than that of a child. As I write this, the tears are streaming down my face. I look at my two children and I cannot begin to imagine the the heartache you must feel. Know that we are all here for you, and we will keep you and your beloved son in our prayers. God bless you.

Reach out to Him and He will reach out in return and give comfort.

    My prayers are with you and your family through this most challenging of times.

    I have had to bury a 2 relatives younger than I, one a sister. I cannot imagine the pain of losing ones child.

    Keep your faith, and know you are thought of by people who know and love you, and many more you didn't know

    I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

    I was saddened to see your post yesterday morning. This one hit me hard in particular as I had just awakened my youngest son to wish him a happy 18th birthday. I know the difficulties you have had this past year from some of your previous posts. We have endured similar circumstances with our youngest but were fortunate enough to get him back from the darkness he was living with for a few years. I am truly sorry for your loss David. Life is very precious and the time we have here is very short indeed. Our prayers are with you and your family.

    The Bible gives us a promise that the Lord will not put more on us than we can bear, and that He will give you strength and comfort to make it throught this terrible time.

    Few of us have had to go through losing a son or a daughter at such a young age, so sometimes words can be spoken or written and we really don't feel that pain that a parent is going through. As God watched his Son dying on the cross for us, I'm sure that the pain seemed unbearable. Lean on the Lord for the comfort that comes from Him.

    I grieve with you....

    I am so terribly sorry to hear of the passing of your son.
    Its an awful feeling to lose one of your children,I have been there with a daughter. At this point in time I know there are no words that will comfort. But believe me the tears will stop and a grandest of smiles will replace those tears...and you'll feel like the most blessed person in the world to have known him. May God give you a speedy healing and may you always feel your son's spirit around you as you try to carry on.

    I just logged on to the Wall after a few days absence and saw this thread. I have just spent some time staring into this computer screen thinking of close people I have already lost, and in my quiet contemplation I can not stop thinking about how fleeting this life really is. How we must make good use of our time here, and cherish our family and friends as we know not how much time we each have here ourselves......

    A country away, the pain flows out of the screen and fills me. There are many words of advice, but none are useful now. Be with family and friends. Cry and hug. Tell the story of your son to anyone who will listen.

    These are the times in my life that words fail me. I don't know you David, or the circumstances of your tragedy. Though I've had my own deeply emotional experiences related to loss, I've never lost a child, and can only imagine what you are going through. You don't need any advice from me.
