you should be proud, after all we really DO protect the health of the nation. Go someplace where they don't have proper sanitation and look at the misery it can cause. How would a modern pharmacutical or other high tech industry get along without proper temp and humidity control. How important is a clean room to yours and many other industries. WE all otta be proud. Hey, jsut think what life would be like without the garbage man???

I don’t want to come off as bragging. I’m just proud of myself. I just learned that I passed the Massachusetts Journeyman Plumbers test. First time! Boy am I glad that’s over! Now for the Masters....

    passing licensing test

Congratulations, Jon, and the best of luck to you in your career. It's so good for us "old timers" to see and hear such enthusiasm for the trade. Keep up the good work and take a lot of pride in what you do and in what you've accomplished. We're not "just plumbers" anymore. This trade is evolving rapidly into the new technologies and I have a certain amount of envy for you "younger" guys for all the exciting stuff that lies ahead for you.
Go forward and make us proud!!!!

    Well...

I live in Gardner, but work in Andover. The commute is worth it though. You see I work as an in house plumber at a huge pharmaceutical company. VERY nice job. Good pay, great benefits. You know how the in house guys are! Sometimes I itch to go on the outside. I love heat work. I’ve done quite a few boilers on the side (With Licensed guys and permits of course). All the old timers I know tell me to say where I am. Guess I’ll just keep doing side work!
