    Please pray for us .

    As some of you know , I had knee surgery two months ago and all went well ,(therapy and healing is finally working).

    Well last week my wife, Patty, was diagnosed with having complex masses on the ovaries and in the uterus as well as positive test results for cervical cancer. MRI , ultra sound and blood tests confirm the diagnosis.

    Thirteen years ago , my first wife , Millie, past away at 29 years of age from ovarian cancer after a long painful 3 years of surgery and chemo.

    I admit I can not believe that this can happen again in my life time.

    To all my friends, mentors and students here on the wall, please include us in your prayers .

    We suffered a mass on the overies but no cancer. Cindy was 34 and will celibrate 58 in May. We will pray with conviction for you and your Wife.

    To date , things are looking pretty bleak . We meet with an oncologic gynocologist on Thursday 4/27 to further discuss the course of action.

    The love and compassion shown to each other on The Wall is a truly amazing feeling . I rely on my friends , mentors and my students here on the wall to keep me strong. Patty and I are in tears as we read and feel the love being given to us .

    Dan , Patty said your an amazing person when she first met you at one trade show or seminar. I am not sure I would be teaching if not for your passion and mentoring.

    Sorry to hear about your first wife, I agree this is a lot to deal with. But you have to be there for her, and try to keep that out of her mind. The best medicine for serious things like cancer seems to be attitude, so try to help her keep her chin up, and we will do what we can by praying for you both.

    I have found that some people who get angry and mentally fight the disease by not letting despair take control actually do better, but talk is cheap on my part.

    Prayers

    We met with the oncologist surgeon and he feels that there is a chance after a full hysterectomy , Patty may be OK .

    Biopsies and tests during surgery will be the tell tale sign regarding metasting tumors.

    Surgery will be early next week.

    With all the love and prayers and wonderful people here , we are strong so far and that is because of all our friends here on the Wall .
