Typical cycle time

How long should a typical 1 pipe system shutdown between cutout and cutin on the pressuretrol?
My system runs up to 2 psi and kicks out on the pressuretrol... then drops to less than 1 psi in about 20 seconds and refires. It also takes quite a while to get to that 2 psi originally (about 20 minutes).
Is this indicitive of rad vents or main vents stuck open?
Thanks for the help,

Might be
but it could also mean your pipes need to be insulated.
Also, if it only takes 20 minutes to come up to pressure from a cold start, either your main vents are too small (if all the rads aren't fully heated by that time) or the boiler is overfired or oversized (if they are).
