Old cast iron baseboard

I am wondering if it is possible to tear apart a section or 2 of old BB to shorten the overall length, (remodeling room) and install new push nipples. The end connections are 3/4" npt. So I am assuming that the intermediate sections are 3/4" push nipples. The baseboard looks similar to Burnham Baseray. We have the draw tool, Thanks Marc
