lockout on boiler purge

EBN 300. Seems like it was locking on the purge that occurs after burners shut down.

    Our gas boiler shut down several times last night. When I looked at the control panel, "purge" was flashing. I reset the boiler, and it came on and heated the water to temp.
    However, later on, the "purge" light was flashing. As soon as I reset the power, it starts and runs, heating the water to temp. After the 3rd time resetting it, it seemed to run well the rest of the night. So far today, it has been running well. What could be causing this? We are going away for a week tomorrow, and I'm concerned we could have a big problem while we're gone.

    what make and model burner

    is it? Could be a binding blower motor.
