Lennox Complete Heat, HM30

From a lennox dealer,This unit has had many problems with tank leakage. It should not be re-used.If its in the original home Lennox would offer a replacement unit for it.

If you need further information e-mail me and I can get you some information or suggest you homeowner to contact 1800-4lennox.

Good luck

Some of these units are out there and run perfectly,

    Lennox Complete Heat, model HM30

Does anyone know anything about these units. I am doing a new home and the homeowner has one of these units. He would like to reuse it. I am not real thrilled with the idea. It came from the old house that was torn down.
Do they still make these units? Can you use this unit for hot water heating? It has a blower coil unit attached. He wants forced air and also some fin and tube.

    DO NOT REUSE THAT UNIT

Lennox made those units for 10 years and never got rid of all the problems, especially the tanks leaking at the welds.

Lennox finally stopped making them in late 2004. I would be willing to bet parts will become scarce as time goes on also.

Last, if he would use it I can gaurantee he would have no warranty on it from Lennox whatsoever.

Do your customer a favor and thow it out, or walk away quickly if he won't.

    Funny how

the house it was in was torn down but the heating unit survives, a soul in search of a new body... Sounds like a Stephen King movie in the making... or is that just me?
