Plumbin / Heating Materials

Time to purge inventory. Anyone know of an online area to sell plumbing and heating material to contractors?
All items are new but just excess surplus.
Last year just gave to scrap dealer.
I hate to put on e-bay.
Examples: Victaulic, dielectric unions, large copper fittings, fernco couplings, urinals new in box, welld fittings, fixture trim.

why not just return them (if new) to wholesaler for credit?

you wouldn't believe the things I get returned for credit from our local contractors.

    Surplus

I know what you mean. No need for it and a shame to chuck it for scrap.

We have here in Boston a Building Materials Resource Center, part of a building materials cooperative.

They take surplus cabinets, millwork, certain appliances, tools, all for the benefit of low-income home owners.
You may have a similar organization where you are.

Then there is Habitat for Humanity and of course Oil Heat Cares or other such organizations that might welcome it all with open arms. Possible tax deductions cannot hurt either.

    Just some thoughts...

    Craigslist.org

easier selling than ebay, but there are lots of ebay resellers out there that help out for 30%.

There was an error rendering this rich post.
