Temperature switch for hot water feed line

I've now heard from two people that I should have a temperature switch on the hot water feed pipe of my boiler to keep the circulator pump on after the boiler reaches the water temperature set point. This makes sense to me. Just wanted to check and see if there were any potential pitfalls and, if not, what water temperature to set the switch at. Also, if anyone has a make/part number for a switch that works I'd appreciate it.

Post-Purge
It's a good idea to keep the circulator running for a couple of minutes after the boiler turns off to pull the heat out of the boiler and put it to where it can be of some use.
How you do this depends on what controls your pump. If you have a Taco expandable controller, all you do is add a post-purge card. If you have a simple relay, replace it with one that has a "delay on break" capability (I bought my last one at Grainger). If it gets too complicated, forget it, it's not worth it.0
