Dunham 640 air eliminator needs parts

The receiver ADDS pressure to the RETURNS when there is too MUCH pressure in the supply mains. By doing this, the pressure in the returns is made to be very close to the pressure in the supplies. The water then falls into the boiler.

Your pressure is too HIGH to allow the condensate to return.

If you keep the pressure below a pound, and hopefully near 8 ounces, you won't need to repair that beauty. Use a good main vent on top, and forget it.

If you want it repaired, contact Tunstall Associates.

    Dunham 640 air eliminator

I need restoration instructions for missing seals on top
and bottom of copper pot that floats up and down within
the air eliminator. The Dunham Home heating system is
original to the 1920's construction of our Georgian Revival
house. The system has been modernized but is not working
as designed when this important component is not operational. It appears that the pressure necessary to force the return condensate back in the boiler is not
adequate without the air eliminator in proper working
    condition.
