The enregy portion of the Keyspan gas bill went up 108% from Sept 04 to Sept 05.

And yet
on every boiler replacement I've bid this fall where gas was available, they wanted gas. That was part of the reason for my comparison post just before Katrina hit. People think natural gas is cheaper when it's actually more expensive per BTU- sometimes much more expensive- and the gas companies do nothing to prevent this. IMHO that borders on false advertising.0 -
You think it's false advertising for gas?
How about propane? Around here the only thing that's more expensive is straight electric.0 -

Pane is what you get in your wallet when the gas man cometh to thy house. But people sure do suck up those commercials don't they.0
