I lost all my e mail addresses and contacts when my computer crashed..so i am reluctant to put it back on the sites i visit. Timmy, some of the younger guys are interested in gettting some of your books and getting into an educational programme ,awould you send along some options that might be available for long distance education>? Thanks your book list would be a treasure for them for sure. and any reccommended readings. 5 optional books should be enough to start a good biblography and reading list *~/:)

  • Weezbo, I sent

you an e-mail with attached list of Troubleshooting guides and Manuals for educating techs. We do not have a correspondence program as such but run a night school program at our training center which is 240 hour program for Phase I and II. There is also an additional program Phases III, IV and V which are an additional 120 hours for a total of 360 hours. This is a modified program from what I used to train service technicians at the gas company.

This course covers controls and systems including Steam, Forced Warm Air and Forced Hot Water. The course also teaches Basic Electricity, Fundamentals of Gas, Venting, Ventilation, pipe sizing, and all wiring of systems. There is also a section on water heaters. We include combustion tesing and analysis.

When you have finished this course you should be able to pass just about an liscensing program related to gas pipe fitting, service or installtion.

For pricing you can e-mail me at gastc@cox.net
