    HB Smith Boiler Capacity

    I have a circa 1969 HB Smith 12 section Series 34, 340 Mills ci sectional boiler generating hot water. Any idea of the I=B=R rating of this thing?

    water rating is 7,250 sq ft. Oil input 13.10 GPH.

    340 Mills ratings

    Mills 340-S/W-12 carried a Gross Output ofr 1,458,000 BTU/Hr. when fired at an oil input of 13.10 GPH.

    NET Steam Sq. Ft = 4,620

    Net Water MBH = 1,109,600 BTU/Hr.
