Maybe..it could work for me*~/:)
Guy called the local newspaper and reported himself dead so that his name was in the Obits....that got me to thinking...maybe Thats a Way to get a day off :)
just thought that it was in keeping with Brads train of though and also that it might just be a way to escape work so you can hurry up and have some fun:)

Its here ...
Its spring and hope springs eternal...
Who knows what the year will bring for " THE SOX'S ", but I know what it will bring ...
Hot days and warm nights in the bleachers.
Hot dogs and Cold Beers.
Kids with their mitts and Red Sox shirts and hats.
Fenway Pahk is the balls.

My son, Ryan, and I attended our first Opening Day together yesterday. (My kitties lost to the Chisox.) It was a perfect day for baseball (slight sunburn). The game went so fast (2:15) that we never left our seats. Hopefully, good baseball is back in Motown. So far, so good.
Ryan is on a travel baseball team this year (12-14 year olds). They have their own website and people/fans can track their progress. I'll post the site once it is finished.0 -
My former employer, Lou
used to work for the City of Boston.. Just before every opening day it seemed the death rate went up among family members of those employed by the city.
Everybody lost an uncle, grandmother, distant relative or even kill off a close relative in name only... always the day before opening day.
No reports on miracle resurrections, but people died multiple times... hey, it's Easter.0 -

I always wonder about the guys how get interviewed on TV who are taking a "DAY OFF".
How many had thier boss watch them on TV that night during dinner ? Can't you just see the boss with a mouth full of steak saying " SON OF A %$#@* ".
Hey where off to a good start.

For years, Scott-
My comment at opening day at Fenway was,
"Just wait until next year!".
Took care of months of heartache. And I do not even follow hockey0 -

'Tis the Season
Missed opening day but made game two. I went with my 24 yr. old daughter but will attend many more this season with my young neices and nephews. Sorry JR for the home opener loss but we needed it after three L's in a row. These championships don't grow on trees you know. I took the Wrigley shot a day later during a normal work day. High hopes and best wishes to all BB fans this year.

'Tis the Season
I attended a game two last week with my daughter. High hopes and good luck to all you die hards out there. Sorry we had to take the home opener from your "kittens" JR but we needed it. Those championships don't grow on trees and I think my Chisox were caught up in the early season spectacle of banners and rings. I shot the last pic the next day in my normal work travels. Could the Cubbies be next and put all this "curse" crap to rest? Good luck to all the teams, it seems to bear stronger than talent sometimes.

Are the pictures viewable? New camera and software.
