with your son, showing his Grammas House.

Life goes on ... as it should. Your Dad stood with you and his Dad with him. You are the Dad now and even thought there are times you'd like it to backwards, it goes on.

I lost my Dad twenty years ago. He never his youngest son grow a business. He never saw his "little boy" buy a house or a second. He never saw my two sons. I miss him every day, and more as time passes.

You'll never stop missing your Mom and you'll miss her more as time passes. Some say it gets easier with time and I use to think that also but maybe its not true.

Your Mom did a great job with you and you'll do a great job with your kids because of her.

Be Good.

Scott

    I am............................................................

Ripped out my mom's steadfast boiler and water heater that had served my family sooooooo well for the last 26 years. It was an old Federal gas/hw boiler that never gas us many problems...2 thermocoups in that time...one on the day my mom passed. Its funny, many things in the house held out ...just long enough. THe water heater (A.O.)was installed in 1983 when I was till in High school. WE always worried about her, but she held fast. In fact I even kept the "replacement" in the garage for hwen she went. We'll now, we are going top be selling the ol' homestead because my brother and I are well-established in our own homes and it just ain't gonna happen. I took pictures, said prayers, pulled off the old plates. We are now installing a Buderus GB and indirect and a couple of Panel rads. This is oh so hard but we carry on. I'll keep ya posted. Mad Dog

    It is hard

My old man used to send me and my sister back to the island he came from in Greece to see our grandparents every couple of years when we were younger. My grandfather died when I was in my twenties, and I have gone back to Greece some years back, and it was hard. I looked at all the tools he showed me how to use, I remembered the hoe he used when he showed me how to move dirt to channel water to different terraces of land to water the olive trees. He taught me how to prune grapevines, and care for goats/sheep, etc.

Walk around and soak it in MadDog, then file away those memories to remember some other time.....

I see the gopher (go pher this, go pher that) is growing!!

    Stress buster

I have observed this myself and have seen it often enough with others: at times of intense emotional stress, there is something that goes around and torpedoes everything around us.

It attacks our own health, many chronic diseases have their onset this way. It doesn't spare our pets either. It freezes the old Grandfather clock, just like in the movies. And it just breaks things and messes around with many of our appliances.

Perhaps, as well as the rest, keeping our boilers in our prayers works best.

I have no idea what to do, I'm no psychic. Put it along with specters and other ghostly phenomena. I just hope my steam boiler has some phantom powers because spontaneous cures for long held health problems are not unheard of either at such stressful times. Your AO could rise up again!

Meanwhile life goes on, real fast and real slow, all at the same time. I am sure your dear mother is still looking on you and is as proud as ever of your Buderus install.

You have one proud boy there with you. Best regards. CH

    I See Those Smiles

Matt as you feel the love surrounding you, I see the smiles on your faces. The tears may come but the memories and love I grew up with will bring the smile back to my face.

Matt untill I shake your hand and witness first hand the smile I'll keep you and your family in my prayers.

should you meet someone who has lost their smile, Give them yours it's priceless

    Terry
