It may well be what is called a 3/8 wall plate avaiable in black malable,copper or galvansised and the pipe clamp also avai in the above and is called a split ring hangers .There are also a varity of other support stuff like van or bell hangers and then the good stuff hydroasborb clamps and versa bar or kindorf by name ,all this stuff is usually avaviable at most plumbing supply house the later is usually from refregerant supply house where it is mostly used except for this forum who always goes for the best in pipe supports peace and good luck clammy ps goggle mupro they have some really good stuff

Serval recent photos of installs show supports that use a plate on the wall and what appears to be all thread and a clamp. Questions, (1) Are these sold as a complete unit or made up from various parts.(2) What is the Name of said set-up (part) and who makes them. These sure make for a nice looking and secure method to support pipes

I think what you're after are Mupro clamps. they come as just the clamps you supply the plates and rod. i got my apprentice to cut up a ton of 3/8" rod "nipples" at various lengths, on site assembly takes no time now ^_^ Argco has them (not listed on their site though) talk to Leo, he'll hook you up.
