gas conversion burner

just wondering which has a higher burn temperture a gas conversion burner or a normal gas burner my mind says the gas conversion burner would burn at a higher temp

    The conversion burner can put out higher flue temps since the air imput at the burner end is adjustable. So, in the fuel gas code 9" clearance is speced for single wall vent connector for a conversion and 6" for a nat draft with a draft hood.
