    wall hung boiler parts unavailable

    I have a hytech high efficiency wall hung boiler, made in 1983, which needs a new gas valve. Everyone I call about it says they won't work on it since the company is out of business, but they would love to sell me a new one. Is it true that its hopeless to find someone to fix it rather than replace it? And if I have to replace it, do you recommend Buderus, Munchkin or Trinity?

    Not enough info. Need make, model, serial #, part# if possible. This unit, if no longer made, mfg. may be owned by another mfg now. (ie: paloma/bosch etc.)
