I'm Baffled
How do you get baffles out a steel boiler when they are stuck in there. I have run across a few New Yorker and Ford boilers that the baffles are stuck in the flue passages. I quess they are stuck because they were never cleaned or maybe they were washed down with water.0 -
I use
I use a big pair of channel locks. Pull and twist. You mean there are still ford boilers out there that haven't leaked or burner through?
Some times when they haven't been cleaned, the excess heat burns the metal and expands the bottom of the baffle.0
