in floor heat over heating

There is no way to have a very warm floor without heating the room. If the floor is 85F you will overheat almost all of the time. All you can do is run the air conditioning at the same time as the heat. ;-)

in floor heat
house with infloor heating loop space getting to hot and humidity very low any ideas? customer wants floor at 85deg.0 -
Yeah, you can't fight physics. You can use good thermostats or floor sensors to keep the floor heated all the time, but unless you let it vary floor temperature, you can't vary output. 85 degrees is 30 BTUs/sq ft, which is pretty much a max design output for a high load room in most modern construction.0 -
JUST CURIOUS
Customer wants the floor @ 85* What temp does he want the room to be? This is what happens when you fall asleep in class...0 -
My wife turns up the heat and then opens the window to get fresh air because the warm air feels stuffy. She never did get those thermostats with the heat / cool switch. Wheres the heat and cool setting?0
