with my first Buderus GB142. This replaced a Peerless that had a totally clogged heat exchanger from the low return water temperatures.
Easy to install and QUIET.
Thanks for all the recommendations fellas.

Are you using the RC-10?0 -
nice
and simple.
Welcome to the club.
Yes ,are you using the rc-10 and I can't tell, but it looks like
the boiler pump and system pump is off the taco relay and not the boiler control?

RC-10
No RC-10; there are two zones (living and sleeping); what would I have used for the second zone?

rc-10
I have not used the indoor reset control yet, but hope to soon after my recent visit to Buderus. I see its importance, otherwise, you have a nice gas boiler, but not at its full potential.
Your larger zone would get the rc-10, zv open pos.Second zv wired as norm

Nice Install Alan
Perfect application for that boiler. You probably could have used the RC10 there. You would have kept the main zone in constant circulation and made the bedroom a slave zone. Your control strategy will still work well. Forgive me for asking, are the flex whips you used on both gas appliances due to being in a earthquake area? Flex whips are a big no-no here for boilers and water heaters. How do you like the Taco Vortex MBR? I had to learn the hard way that the float vent is a 3/4" MIP fitting not 1/8". Keep that in mind if you ever have to change one. Nice work as always.

Flex
Thanks for your suggestion, Darin; maybe I'll go back and change the strategy.
Gas flex are not required here and we could have hard-piped it; it's large enough to supply the input BTU's of the boiler.
We've been using the Taco Vortex air eliminators for awhile now and I like them.
