dirty steam boiler

in THE MAIN WALL
I have a steam boiler that needs cleaning. I have no skim valve but a can remove the pop-off valve on top of the boiler to perform the skimming. Any tips?

    call a pro

    In my oponion your best bet is to contact a pro. You cannot blow down a steam system through the pressure relief valve. Remember you are dealing with water hot enough to give you third degree burn's instantly. Get a pro to come in and do it properly and safely, it's in your best interest...IMHO
