I used to skate hockey and speed skating; was never any good, but it made me appreciate talented skaters.

    On the ice that is.

    I thought I would post something a little different. Here are some pictures of the US Speed skating team going to Torino, Italy for the winter games in hope of bringing home a gold medal for the USA. The picture of the mens team we have a local home town hero from Bay City, Michigan. He is the second one from the left, His name is Alex Izykowski. He has been training along to reach this point and we wish him all the luck in the upcoming Winter Games. One more thing the last picture will show you what could happen when your skating that fast. Enjoy the pictures and lets wish them all the luck.

    I will be sure to tell them. By the way Rusty Smith is from California. He is also Skating for the US team. He is the one the far right in the mens only pic.
