blocked gas valve vents on roof tops

in THE MAIN WALL
Having trouble with mud wasps blocking gas regulator vents on a few rooftop units.Has anybody came across this and is there any solution to this problem to keep them clean?????

    gas vents

    here in jersey pse&g has screened vent caps.... check with you're supply house to see if they have screened vent caps

    peck vents

    they are called peck vents they are basically a 90 with a screen on the outlet end
