GB 142-24 Question

I have heard of this in a few installations now and have sent an e-mail to Holland (where the GB142's are manufactured). I will keep you posted!

    HUH!

We just fired up a GB on a job we are almost completed and are having some weird performance problems. Currently we have two radiant slabs running (the garage and basement) and two of the hydro coils running (they will be for second stage only at the completion of the job) All of the t-stats hit Taco circ. control boards that hit the end switch on the boiler.

And this is the problem; we can not get the boiler to go above 91 degrees! I have the controller on the boiler at 140 and I am only getting 90. We have a return temp. of about 50 degrees. The only thing we could come up with is maybe the boiler will only do a temp rise of 40 degrees?

Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Ok, I have the EXACT scenario, I just fired up a unit last week
with two hydro air units (temporary heat now) radiant will go in soon.
There is a thread somewhere, Joe from Buderus will tell you no RC10
should be used with hydro, which I don't have, check boiler output setting,
L-- is 100%. Boiler pump set to #2 speed.
In my case when the two air handler circulators are on I stay around 131*
as soon as they shut off the GB shoots up to 190* which is where I have it dialed in at.
I could only guess its part of the GB's logic?
At first I thought I was undersized (GB142-30) but I looked up the HW coil specs
and I have more than enough boiler.
Other tham that, the heater works like a charm!
