choosing radiator valves

in THE MAIN WALL
Need some new air vent valves, both for mains and rads, for my steam system. Looking at Hoffman and Gorton. Would appreciate any recommendations and reasons for choosing one over the other.

    Enter the sizing of your piping and length of mains, no. of rads etc. Someone will help

    Sorry I wasn't clearer in my first post. I'm not concerned at this point with a specific size vent valve. From what little I know it seems that Hoffman and Gorton valves are quite different in design concept and how they function. I'm more interested in your experience with each brand, what you think of their designs, and why you would recommend one brand over the other. Thanks for any help you can provide.
