Yes you would need a upgrade kit from analog to ditital
about $400 and a vision one kit about $150 and repipe the primary with a T and pump according to the vision 1 diagrams and it will work great.

    Older Munchkin Vision compatible

I have an older munchkin before the newer 925 board. Does anyone know if it can be upgraded to the vision controller? Does it require any additional parts?

    Thanks,

You would need the 925 control to use the Vision packages with the Munchkin. In addition, the boiler would need to be piped in accord with the Vision package. This is something that is often overlooked.

Thanks Guy. I am re-installing the 140 in a different house, and am planning the piping. As you mentioned, the piping is different for the vision, so I need to settle whether to go the vision route before I commit to a piping layout.

We installed Munchies before the 925 board was available.

We have since changed every one to the 925 and the Vision.

I'd spend the money and bring the boiler up to date.
