Foil face or not to foil face
My neighbor asked me about underside insulation for his staple up system. He is asking about foil face vs non foil. i have not installed staple up in so long to know which to use. The last time I did we did use foil, but what is the conscuious now? I think foil would help create a greater radiant effect from the staple up, by spreading out the heat. I have been using traditional R-11 or R-19 with radiant panels(plates, track and warmboard).
Thanks Jeffrey0
